You know an album has something to it when you listen to it and by the end of it you want to start a band with all your friends and just be young in the summertime. That could be the case when you take a listen to Lets Go Surfing by The Drums, a little beach poppy kind of affair that does not disappoint. This EP consist of six songs that all bring the 50s/60s beach scene to mind but that aren't riding the coattails of what has happened in the past, they bring their own thing experimental ideas to the table It's the fact that it is a simple pop album that makes you wish you lived next to the beach all summer long with no end is site.
